SteamLine Graphics Concept Presentation

For this project we were asked to create a logo for a local graphic design firm and then base our design off of this and research we did about office productivity. This was a semester long project in which we completed every stage of a design from concept to programming and schematics to design work and finally construction documents and specifications. The majority of our time was spent on learning about and producing the construction documents and specs.

2010/ 2011 IDEC Competition Submission

In teams of three, we were asked to research community demographics and health care trends. Then using the shell of an existing building, create a health clinic that would best serve the community. Hannah Corrian, Arielle Swissa, and myself collaborated on this project.

Hotel Suite

This design was a collaboration between myself and my classmate Crystal Tan. We were asked to do research on all aspects of Japanese culture focusing on Japanese values and their home life. We were also given a Japanese writer to research named Haruki Murakami who would be the inspiration for an upscale hotel suite. The preceding photos are renderings of the suite we created.

Since we were not able to meet the client in person, we prepared this presentation video which explains our background research, concept, art pieces, and takes the client throughout the space.

Design Firm

In our Professional Practices class, we were asked to create an interior design firm from the ground up including a logo, mission statement, and financial information. We then presented our firm using this poster which represents who we are as a firm using the information we prepared and borrowed photos.
